Last week, from May 4 to May 7, our team was in Houston for the 2026 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) – one of the biggest global stages for the oil and gas industry. And I have to say: it was a great week.
We went there to show what we’ve been working on. But more than that – we went to listen, reconnect, and understand what really matters to the people working out there in the field. And we left feeling energized, not just by the interest we received, but by the conversations we had.

What we brought to the table
At our booth No. 1025, we featured three main product families that represent the core of what we do for the petroleum drilling sector:
• Our PDC cutters – built for high heat, high stress, and long hours downhole.
• Our drill bits – designed with cutting structures that aim to reduce trip time and improve ROP.
• Our tungsten carbide wear-resistant materials – for components that take the hardest beatings from abrasion and impact.
These aren’t just products we list on a spec sheet. They’re technologies we have field-tested, improved, and brought back to the lab again. And at OTC 2026, we were proud to see them get real attention from people who know drilling inside and out.

Seeing old friends and making new ones
One of the best parts of the week was simply looking up and seeing familiar faces – clients we’ve worked with for years, some of whom we hadn’t met in person since before 2025. We had honest talks about what’s working, what could be better, and how drilling conditions have changed.
And of course, we met a lot of new people – engineers, procurement managers, field supervisors from different continents. Some stopped by out of curiosity.
Others came with a specific problem already on their mind, like:
• “Our bits aren’t lasting through certain hard stringers.”
• “We’re seeing uneven wear on composite parts in high-temperature wells.”
• “We need a wear material that holds up in abrasive slurry without cracking.”
Every single one of those conversations reminded us why we do this job.

What we’re actually good at
If I had to summarize what our company brings to the table after this show, it would be three things:
1. Real material engineering – not just catalog items, but deep work on diamond sizing, sintering curves, and alloy compositions that match real downhole conditions.
2. Proven field performance – we’re not new to this. Our products are already running in active oilfields, and we have the data to back up longer life and lower cost per foot.
3.Willingness to customize – because no two wells are the same. We don’t push standard products. We ask questions first, then recommend or adapt.
But here’s the main point: we want to solve your problems
Let’s be honest – technical exhibitions are fun, but they’re not the goal. What matters is what happens after.
We don’t just want to sell components. We want to help you drill better – fewer trips, less downtime, more predictable performance. That means being available before the problem becomes critical, and staying involved after the sale.
So if you’re seeing bit wear that makes no sense, or if your tools are failing earlier than expected – or if you just want a fresh opinion on material selection for a new project – reach out.
We’re not the kind of supplier who disappears after the invoice is paid. We’re the kind that picks up the phone when your field team is stuck.
Let’s keep the conversation going
We’re back from Houston, but the conversations are just getting started. If we met at OTC 2026 – thank you. If we didn’t – let’s change that.
Send us an email, give us a call, or visit our website. We can set up a short virtual meeting to talk about your current drilling challenges, or send samples for evaluation.
We’re ready. And we’d like to work with you.
